Some of this weekend's for our online Wassail (wassail!!). Solid Dennis sunning himself on our garden bench; spring is definitely approaching. And new growth Alexanders all over the garden; I adore them & last spring I used some to flavour gin!

For a very special Solstice - some books I’d saved up for festive reading, a crumpet with Nutella and a nice panad (cuppa), some fabric I’ve found that I’d stashed away, and a nice warm fire...

For this week, just a few pretty things I found around the garden. Writing all my sweet students a letter today to tell them what I’ve been doing and asking them to write me back. Really missing them today.

Saved from the bin potato peeling crisps (h/t to for the idea!) and home grown rosemary, pruned and ready for drying. Delish in casserole dumplings yesterday.
