Notable are its two relatively distinct subspecies, including big, red specimens, and smaller, green specimens which could be respectively found north and south of the equator until late in their terrestrial history
One of the partial results of my post-doc work, using photometry/computer tomography and 3d modeling software to reconstruct damaged fossil specimens, in this case the skull of Pagosvenator candelariensis, an erpetosuchid from the Triassic of Southern Brazil.

Ppl keep blaming solar sands for making young artists afraid of creating art but what about these specimens, both grown ass men in their early 20s who based their content off bullying kids online for being cringe lmfao
My specimens, sorry there was no stream tonight. I had to prepare a last minute presentation last night so I only got 2 hours of sleep.
So as soon as I got home I passed out for 6 hours and missed stream 😭
To make up for it - we will be moving stream to tomorrow at 9 pm est!
New paper by @MaryViglino et al - many new specimens of the 'platanistoid' dolphin Notocetus vanbenedeni from the lower Miocene of Argentina. This species now known from sample of 26 specimens, revealing acoustic/hearing adaptations. https://t.co/VE1OMabXgL
@LT_Blythe Ya seem to have many lovely specimens, but if ya wanted to.... *slides png over* 💜
@n0neofyerbuz Possibly, you could incorporate artistry into your possible work as a marine biologist: you can photograph specimens, and then draw or paint them, which could provide further insight into dynamics and physics of the organisms. I appreciate such artistry.
Happy pride month! 🌈❤️❤️

Some fighters are physical specimens, some have tremendous heart and some are incredibly skilled.
Few fighters have all three.
@TeciaTorres is one of those few.
Thanks for an awesome fight Tecia 👌

Generalized Chart of Triceratops Through Time.
Triceratops is an index fossil- a fossil used to help date a layer or unit of rock. This is made possible by a multitude of Triceratops specimens, research on its evolution, and a solid foundation on Hell Creek stratigraphy.
From caring for our collections of natural history specimens, to research and discovering new species. Our scientists do a whole range of things @Museum_Cardiff #InternationalWomensDay2022 #IWD2022
