I’ve had people ask about the way these journal drawings by are done.

It’s not a fake water color effect, it’s real. There’s some tweaks after they are scanned but most of it is done on paper.

Some of the cool splotches are done with watercolor, salt and coffee! Cool!

This is Axolotl who is blind (sees light and some splotches of color but has no definition). They're a pretty mellow and relaxed fellow who enjoys swimming and spending time at the beach. I like to draw them with a gentle smile.

I Just found a 'Colorize' feature in Clip Studio Paint Pro that can colorize line art. This is a huge time saver. AI can be used for good after all. The left one was done with aid of color splotches I put behind my line work. The one on the right I just let it go to town

I'm working on a Lord Lithos animation and drawing all these spots and splotches all over him takes as long as the lineart! It doubles the time it takes to animate him! Why do I do this to myself!!!

Oh I forgot to mention... I started making actual textures for Aer on SL yesterday! She has longer hair on there though because I kinda like the way it looks x)

Just need to do the body, paw and tail textures too! Body is gonna be the hardest, with all those splotches x.x
