Referenced Studies
'Curse Enthusiast who occasionally sells bottled milk' was the practice target today.
Okay, these took around 30 mins each, they were supposed to be 15 but they didn't even come close to done in that time...
I need to take these less seriously.

Kaede this time.
The first two took around 20 minutes, while the last was 15. As it turns out, it's a lot easier to crank out a sketch when the character isn't wearing much...
Referenced Studies
Back to basics, found 3 random pics and referenced the poses while putting Anila over the referenced poses.
Around 15 mins per pic.
wip of some studies but now I want to make a print series I think umu
This is a project that I am very proud to show: the Fighting Redcock “Anime” Girl, commissioned by a client who serves in the VFA-22 squadron of the US Navy and happens to be an anime fan. I took notes from the request and studied public sources, the results are solid.
YCBAR!
This is an extreme example of what happens when you leave it to AI. I studied at an art university in Japan and have been proud to be an artist for many years. My pride will not allow me to say that this is a painting drawn by AI.

color studies and maybe infinity nikki after~!
I got asked in a discord why I always focus on cools and warms/values when I do studies/break downs/master studies.
We are more sensitive to contrasts than we are to color. So it's easier for me to study if I'm figuring out the contrasts that are making a picture work.
@Kaukret If you take a photo, someone does a study of it. Then start selling prints, how'd you feel about that?
I'm sure for study sake it's fine, just credit the photographer, I'm starting to put the link on my studies.
