tbh I was dissatisfied with my art style, I don't wanna draw moe "cute" characters or bishies. I wanna draw the rough gekiga 80s/90s style, so I switched references to kaneko's artwork
before finishing it up i gave meursault a 4 buttons coat which looked pretty naked. then i switched over to the 6 buttons one. and i also considered giving him a hat heheh

2020 vs 2024
Started in SFM, then switched to Blender in 2021. From there I've been trying to improve the perceived quality of the models and the scene.
The only drawback: it takes me longer to finish them, and I discard many others because I feel they aren't "artistic enough".
Also have some non-zoomed in versions where I switched Aerith’s staff for a flower to see if maybe I can make them into stickers or something 🤔
