Late on but eh.
Dimetrodon was through the Early Permian one of the most successful genus of synapsid pelycosaurs lasting almost 20 m.y., upon this there has always been a different species in each point being in most cases the apex predator until the end.

Lycaenops ornatus, a furry looking gorgonopsid is smaller predator that lived in the end of Permian period before ending off with the mass extinction known as “The Great Dying.”

Lemurosaurus pricei is another small bodied therapsid, but more specifically a smaller member of Burnetiamorpha.
