A late night doodle: Paratoceras, a little cousin of the better known slingshot-faced Synthetoceras.

These animals resembled deer with weird headgear, but have been suggested to the more closely related to either camels or chevrotains.

Synthetoceras is just plain weird. Anatomy seems to indicate that something interesting was going on at the base of the nasal horn, so I was playing with the idea that maybe there was a inflatable pouch there. Perhaps something similar seen in Speke's gazelle.
