#MonteSanGiorgioWeek
One of the most iconic animals from the Triassic is the INCREDIBLY long necked, Tanystropheus. Found at Monte San Giorgio, one species captured its prey by ram-feeding.

A little bit of lagiacrus, a touch of tanystropheus.
Mastodonsaurus and Tanystropheus. Animals that we can find in Trassic layers in Poland. During excavations led by @LCzepinski i found teeth of M. and cervical vertebra of T. 30 cm long. The angle of Tanystropheus neck is quite bold, it probably couldnt bend it too much.
Hybrid complete! And it looks like a deranged Tanystropheus.
It also coincidentally looks a lot like the prompt dino. Huh.
Day 6 of #dinocember. Theme: #tanystropheus. #paleoart #sciart
Secondly, I've uploaded new #paleoart of Dinocephalosaurus, swimming cousin of Tanystropheus. The whole image has been uploaded in glorious high-res at Patreon: check it out at https://t.co/4dUy1xKvTp. Access to my four years of Patreon content starts at $1 a month.
