So I redid this drawing, made it lighter, more simple looking. It's still far from great, so I might attempt to improve it again in a week or two - maybe try to get something that looks more between the two styles.

I just finished two more illustrations and posted on my blog the segment of the novel that goes with them. It's not the most exciting part of the novel, but it what I've got the most artwork done for at this point. 🙂✍️

I love the bubble effect of this filter, but it turned their pretty eyes into bubbles too! I'll have to fix it up a bit. Illustration for The Nepenthe.
