I’ve finally started my January Paletteful Pack which I received a couple of weeks ago. One of the prompts was #flower so I did #thistles. It was hard to resist the urge to go in with other mediums but I like to challenge myself to only use what’s in the box.
I 💚 every shade of green. For the #colour_collective I’m sharing my abstract globe thistles. Acrylic on canvas paper #cobaltgreen #FridayThoughts #artistsontwitter

For #BurnsNight2019 we've found this beautiful hand-coloured plate of thistles. Believed to have hung on Linnaeus' wall, the plate was given to Linnaeus by Johannes Gessner c.1764 https://t.co/co8cg5Zn7V
Lately the roadsides are covered in these crazy tall thistles. They're pretty lovely when they aren't in my yard!
