No joke, Aggro and his kind were initially based on the Tinkerbats from Shantae and the Susuwatari from Totoro and Spirited Away.
That was just in the first couple sketches though. Aggro's character became more developed as I wrote him into scenes and got him talking.

As Samus gose to out to puck up food you decide to go to Tae's basement. Going down there you see Tae's Tinkerbat with their pants down revealing its very heavy/hung package covered in purple lip stick. He has chains on him making sure it dosent leave but it looks like hes broken
