@RealKatoOG @minwjr @katokrew @foundation @SuperRare I like to elevate @TymothyLongoria ~ deeply moving, haunting visuals that stand out in their refined form and tonality.
@Tkacz_art Just cold colors, or actually cold *scenes*? Problem is, I usually like to counter the cold tonality with a bit warm light here and there...😅
In 1934 she returned to Hawick & exhibited in Edinburgh. Self-portrait (1943), Study in White (c1939), Still Life (c1938) & Tulips (c1938-9) Dwelling in Scotland would lead her to refocus her efforts on her art. Tonality & volume were also concerns for her at the time.
@jianyom KEI clearly intended her to be cyan with a blue tonality, so. 🥴🥴
@Justinoaksford not to toot my own horn in this but these environments are 100% the aesthetic I would shoot for with my own project, if I could create one. one of my first lighting studies (five years ago now wtf) was shooting for that tonality!
also extra early post for valentine’s day of @BatteringRham ‘s OC Rivet!

Born #onthisday1879 Othon Friesz French #artist of #Fauvist movement Later abandoned #Fauvism brilliant colours & lively arabesques & returned to a more sober palette simple tonality & logical composition A #Baroque air imbues #landscapes #stilllifes & #figurepainting
@WahooPunk You smashed it out of the park ser. I sniped mine when he was sat idly on the floor at 13eth. Part of me wishes the slob was dressed with some more colour, part of me likes the tonality of his get up. Either way we cool 🌈 🤮 🙏
A new one and a personal favorite of mine for @DaniBurner of his OC "Furu-aru" from the Devaronian race of Star Wars
Love the tonality of this one especially on her face :D
Hope you guys like it too :D
Hi everyone! 👨🏻🎨
This is my new digital painting again in orange tonality.🔸
It going to be list in @withFND very very very soon!! 🎉🍻🍾
The interior of a wood was one of John Nash’s favourite subjects. The paleness of the tonality is uncharacteristic, but indicates a light-filled glade surrounded by a variety of trees, where the canopy of leaves isn't too dense to prevent sunlight filtering to the wood floor.
@bynsny Happy happy morning, fantastic hump day. I love change them , contemplate them with different tonality. Wish you the best day ever beautiful 🔴🟠🟡🟢🟢⚪️🟣🟣🔵🔵⚪️⚫️🟣🟡🟠🔴🔴🟠🟠⚫️⚫️ which one do you like the most❓❓❓❓❓

Stanley Spencer's portrait is of his brother-in-law and war artist Richard Carline. Stan became a great artistic influence on Richard's work and many of the figures and the tonality in his paintings are close in style to Stanley's works of the 1910s and 1920s.
obviously im just generalizing
take the japanese game bloodborne for example with its densely packed and fully realized yharnam vs wall maria/rose/sine in the AoT game (obv the budget/deadline/tonality is different, but you just know which ones a Set Dressing vs A Location
*Artistic concept with a lot of symbolism of the occult, determining in lines and tonality*
