There have to be millions of horror stories about notes from marketing/ toy manufacturers being terrible but these are two times where that was not the case. This process of prepping/adapting art to hit with a larger audience via Toyetic design psychology is so fascinating.

the designs are these 90s-hardcore post-godzilla freak monsters
my favourite is birdramon - a terrifying toothed bird that is partnered with the tomboy girl sora.

i love something as toyetic as digimon going with this for their girl toy

Mike Golden has SUCH a grasp on structure.

So...the original Beyblade's third season had a scene where Tyson and Daichi accidentially kiss each other.

To date, I think this was the only time a toyetic anime did anything like this.

Oh, and of course, it was cut completely on the english dub.
