The designer of the Truforce figures, Keisuke Mizuno , created X-Kai, a Bass-esque version of X made by Dr. Wily before working on Zero.
Mizuno stated he was surprised there never was Evil Version of X, but the Rockman X Megamission series has iX, an evil clone of X.
Fun fact! In Mega Man X2, there were not only going to be 4 X-Hunters, but 2 forms for all of them!
Sadly the fourth was cut, and Violen never got a second form.
