Today I discussed the concepts of the “line of action” and “squash and stretch” with one of my art tutees, centered around his request to learn to draw Naruto!

Yesterday, my six tutees - 5 to 14 - were all on good form. We drew monsters to write about, visited the world of Shirley Hughes, discussed figurative language & much more.
In these times, combining playful activities with academic rigour seems to help both learning & wellbeing.
