A new awesome has been recently described! Meet gigas! This dinosaur was a big guy, growing up to 11-12 meters in length & 4 tonnes in weight. Meraxes had small arms similar to tyrannosaurs, but to compensate that, it had huge jaws & raptor-like killing claws!

Xiongguanlong (Xiongguan Dragon) is an early Tyrannosaurid from Early Cretaceous China. It marked a turning point in Tyrannosaur evolution. Compared to other early tyrannosaurs, it was larger, more robust, and had smaller arms like later tyrannosaurs.
