Speaking of brushwork -- WHEW! I think my biggest improvement was definitely in technique.
Directional strokes, working with opacity, layering and mixing colors, soft vs hard edges, the impact of the correct undercolor... I'm excited to implement these in some original artwork!

I didn't like how drab the undercolors were on the last version whoops. Plus I thought it could use more personality and energy overall
