The Vespoids from Monster Hunter!
During the G10 update for Monster Hunter Frontier, a poll was held on Twitter to choose the next Exotic Species. Besides Sand Barioth (ベリオロス亜種), the candidates were Vespoid Queen (クイーンランゴスタ), Stygian Zinogre (ジンオウガ亜種), and Giadrome (ドスギアノス).

Lavasioth is a predator that is known to prey upon Vespoid and Apceros. Highly territorial in nature, Lavasioth will attack other large monsters that invade its territory, including other Lavasioth. While some might think that it's limited to the lava, Lavasioth can walk on land.
I'm going to skip over the King Shakalaka and Vespoid Queen.

S.Queen's plated armor legs were translated into twintail (quadtail?) drills. So I tried to make her 'cute' compared to previous monster girls. I guess she'd be the shortest as well (only taller than Vespoid Queen and minions like Jaggias and Ludroths.) #MonsterHunter #mh4

By using electricity, Astalos has an effective weapon that can be used for capturing and killing prey. This flying wyvern is an omnivore that primarily feeds on lesser creatures like Vespoid, Velociprey, and Velocidrome.
The Frontier Team said they would be using that poll for future reference, but Vespoid Queen never happened (Plus, we need to remember that both MH Teams have problems implementing bugs and crabs in their games anyway).
After G8, Vespoid Queen, Giadrome, and Sand Barioth appeared on a poll for the next Exotic Species in G10.1, but none of them are ever mentioned again beyond said poll.
