Still some of my favourite clouds I’ve ever painted. I varied brushstroke directionality to emphasize volume, and the paint with its wonderful viscosity...what a heavily-laden sky it was that day in Wesleyville!

How I get my, ah.. Liquids.. To look how they do. Not covering fluid physics here, but there's a lot of physics involved in how fluids of different viscosity has different surface tension and stuff.. Water in this circumstance would just separate and splash everywhere.
