Wagadu's sistrum-staff is a musical weapon typically used by priests (especially of the Moon Goddess Addeessa); it is inspired by Ethiopia's sistrum, the Ṣanāṣel, which goes all the way back to Ancient Egypt🎶🎵✨🇪🇹🇪🇬✨

I'm going with @/NalaWu every damn time. Because they drew Chaaltu amazingly and I cannot heap enough praise onto how wonderful a piece this is for The Wagadu Chronicles. The art speaks for itself! Also this is an Afro-Fantasy character for an in discord challenge. So good.
