Alfred with windflowers 2

So this is loosely baised on the Alfred+Vander supports with Lumera gave Alfred windflowers on his birthday. It was touching when I saw it, Alfred and Vander wanted to restore the garden.

I thought white windflowers suit Alfred well.

Anemones, aka windflowers, are what I deemed his signature flower. I used them in a couple of compositions. Their symbolism can be quite complex. I went for the wind catching his arrows and hair. Also may symbolize healing, love, etc. similarly to anhydrite.

Esto es un trabajo para clase uwu Tuve que dibujarme a mi misma en una obra de algún artista conocido, decidí dibujarme en Windflowers de Waterhouse.
Me hice con pelo largo ya que notaba que era una parte importante del dibujo

William Waterhouse (1849-1917)
I’d love to go all Pre Raphaelite but not today just this one by Waterhouse as the title is ‘Windflowers’. The Brotherhood are never far from my mind, and this artist although strictly not Pre Raff is my favourite

Waterhouse was a gifted draughtsman as can be seen from the marvellous drawings that survive. Study for the Lady Clare (1900), The Flower Picker (1900), the Siren (c1900) & Windflowers (1902)
