Xardion, 1992.
The first game I ever catalogue ordered (Grey Import) from the local indy. Based on the front cover obviously. I made the right choice, loads of free roaming levels, plenty of mecha options and extensively great music. Worth playing.
@LeslyYlsel2 @yuichiAxesset It's Xardion, originally designed by Yasuhiro Moriki
@ShinMoondaze Also the same guy who gave us the FREAKIN' ZEORYMER!!! AW YEAH! Oh and a bunch of Iczer Robos for Iczer 3 audio dramas and OVAs. And Xardion too.
I tried to paint it like Xardion,
though I'm not sure how successful I was.
Inspired by the Triton/Salamander mecha from XARDION (SNES/Super Famicom 1992). The game was so-so, but artists Moriki Yasuhiro and Hajime Katoki did some awesome work on it! #xardion #fanart #supernintendo #mecha #art
Let's just turn Hathaway's Flash into a Moriki revival, why the hell not. I'm sure somebody out there wants a Xardion OVA
Fanart of a robot character from XARDION (Super Nintendo, 1992). Fun to relive old memories. :)
I feel like Xardion could make a good handheld port. Where they just take the mech sprites and give them decent gameplay and sound effects for a change.
Otherwise it's a waste of some Katoki Hajime mech designs.
