If anything the legs are actually a little short, people really underestimate the lankiness of Yutyrannus. https://t.co/T2UB6lfRj9

Prior to the discovery of Yutyrannus, Beipiaosaurus was the largest known animal with direct evidence of feathers. Estimated at 2.2 meters in length and less than 30 kilograms, it’s roughly 4 times shorter and 130 times lighter than the fuzzy tyrannosauroid.

I decided to draw the bees from as dinosuars in celebration of yesterday’s episode! Blake is a Gorgosaurus while Yang is a Yutyrannus!

Quick sketch for today, nothing like having an inconsistent art style... Anyway, I'm very happy we're getting Deinocheirus, ever since the Japanese documentary, Amazing Dinoworld I've been a big fan of the species.

🦖 Daily Dino 🦖; Yutyrannus huali

It had to be 😂 From Early Cretaceous Yixian formation of China, this tyrannosauroid is the largest known dinosaur with direct evidence of feathering. At around 9 meters long, it's also quite large for an early tyrannosaur

This one was a fun testing, I opened a experimental commission slot which Blood_Orchid grabbed and asked for their Yutyrannus.

I want to train painting more this year and had a try on this one, I´m still getting hooked up on small details still but that´s what training is for :)

Yutyrannus stalking through a misty forest. I adore this style of painting feathers! I'm also increasingly a fan of detailed animals in stylised landscapes (though that might be my laziness talking... backgrounds are hard.)

I saw snow for the first time a few weeks ago, and drew a big fluffy Yutyrannus to celebrate ❄️🍗
