Does Yutyrannus support the idea of a heavily feathered T.rex? No, not particularly. It was big, but still a sixth the weight of a rex and came from a much cooler environment. Sparse feathering in T.rex, maybe. But a Yutyrannus comparison isn’t strong. 1st art by @mariolanzas5

Merry Christmas Yutyrannus!🎄
Baby dinosaurs/theropods in paleoart could always be depicted more🐤
-subadult, and a younger juvenile! Based on this find, it's been theorized that Yutyrannus might've been a social animal, forming small family units and using pack-hunting to take down prey, potentially including the sauropods of the Yixian Formation! (2/2)

The Snow Explorers!
A pack of Yutyrannus explore their territory, making their way through a snowy slope. Been a while since I've drawn snow and fur. Looked at brown bears in the snow for reference.
Enjoy!

@bloodbornekart YES SIR RIGHT AWAY SIR.
eli would probably be a yutyrannus or something similar? big, fluffy, kinda imposing, bit of an asshole.
sunny would be a herrerasaurus! small n tough! also imagining her scampering around at mach 10 like TI herra makes me smile
@AllosaurusJP Maybe I could use this as an opportunity to finally learn coding so I can implement these old Mod concepts of mine into the game
They’re Plateosaurus, Yutyrannus, Hypsilophodon, and Protoceratops
elm my yuty sona!! a very soft and grumpy yutyrannus who really likes plants, gems, and cuddling with his big allo bf, hemming :D he lives in a massive redwood forest
@AllosaurusJP Still can’t think about Camp Cretaceous without thinking about Yutyrannus
@JGN_Paleo @Paleoartologist OK - I understand. I certainly agree with you that those crests are very different to what we see in birds and we shouldn't assume they're the same. I've wondered if the bumps along the top of some crests (e.g. Yutyrannus) are scale correlates, given the anatomy of other tyrants.
🌱Finished up the paleo au for Loki and Glades
Loki is a yutyrannus
Glades is a megalosaurus
A rather unconventional Jurassic World redesign
I turned the Rugops primus from the Mattel line into a baby Yutyrannus huali!
It´s probably been years I did a trade with another artist, but it somehow happened with @Azany_artist :D
Drew their sona Arax the Yutyrannus who has so much of the colors I love to use myself, that it´s been a huge joy to draw him B)
