Thanks for making it 'til the end. I just really needed to write this 'cause Amphibia means alot to me, and this episode was a lot. So yep, I'm gonna miss this show so much, but I'll always have it in my heart
But now with her relationship with the Plantars, now she knows that you don't have to be what they want you to be, she got to choose herself, to make her own decisions, to fight, to forgive, to love.
But it's too late, so he chooses the easy path again, but this time he does it for Leif. He opens his heart (and armor), giving Anne a chance to win this final fight and maybe, somewhere, somehow, this action will reach Leif.
This moment comes with the memory of the only person that was close to him the way Leif and Barrel were, with Marcy. And the waves of guilt come again, the pain he caused to her, to Sasha and Anne, to everyone on Amphibia and Earth, and to himself.
Andrias. Damn, this character is so great.
His flashbacks are all about his internal battle between his friends and his family. As much as he suffers, he keeps helping the core and its plan 'cause that's the only thing he's supposed to do... right?
Her huge determination to save Marcy and to reinforce her new persona makes her do this final stand (even after getting a huge hole of her back), by telling Darcy "I'm not that person anymore". The cherry on the cake for her redemption arc.
