@ElizStJohn @CryssaBazos @SueCooperBridge @ARebelHand @abelfrageauthor I'm a day late, but I have to admit that—besides Stuart hunks Rupert and Monmouth—I have a thing for the womanising Arnold Joost van Keppel. Those lips! That chin! *swoons*

**Dangerous Beauties**
One dangerous beauty was Anna Maria Talbot (née Brudenell), Countess of Shrewsbury (1642–1702). Her adulterous liaison with 2nd Duke of Buckingham led to a duel in which her husband, Francis, was killed. 🤺⚔💔
@abelfrageauthor Not at first, no, but eventually the ladies got on relatively well. The adulterous relationship between Anna Maria and Villiers came to an end and AM went to a convent abroad for some time.
We saw this film a couple of days ago for the first time and I can't get it out of my head. I really loved it especially with the nod to the myth of Psyche and Cupid. Stunning film. Not gonna lie, I cried at the end in a happy way.
