@kassiopeeia @magical_scope Hi! I'm Anna, and I'm writing and illustrating a book about magical plants :)
I've challenged myself do do the whole thing today. My hand is complaining but hey, #achievement! :3
After two days spent fighting with the seriously overgrown garden, I got an equal share of gooseberry and wild rose thorns embedded in my skin.
I've always thought I have a personality of a cactus; never expected the thorns to be visible.
@CameronFrankish @anka_dm It's the law. If your dress has pockets, you have to tell everyone.
As told by @bevscomics
Btw, look at my bay. It's bae. I haven't cried once while painting the leaves (my hand did but that's chronic illness for ya.) And tbh, I think I'm getting the hang of it. Like, I'm starting to have an *art style* with those drawings. I have never expected that to happen.
Held by the Romans as the symbol of victory, Laurus nobilis was thought too noble for 'profane' uses, like kindling. The crackling of leaves and twigs in the fire was considered the plant's complaint about such mistreatment. #FolkloreThursday
That was a lot of leaves to paint!
Sometimes I don't like my drawings but then I remind myself about 18th century Italian artist, Giacomo Cavenezia, and about the fact that there's nothing wrong with your animals looking derpy
OMG! Somebody has just written a #shortstory to one of @WiszJakub's #writingprompts from arctic Wayfarer's Deck and I'm so happy! I love the #WritingCommunity 💖
What would you do if you saw a staircase made of dancing lights? #ttrpg #dnd5e
