19. Lovely Complex by Aya Nakahara
My favourite manga, the ultimate pick me up that I always reread when I’m feeling down.
6. The Hobbit by J.R.Tolkien
The Hobbit is one of my favourite childhood books. Back then I only read it in Russian, via a very famous Soviet edition illustrated by M. Belomlinsky. It will probably forever be my favourite version of The Hobbit. Those illustrations are EVERYTHING
@gendertraitor_ some of my faves that I felt were super easy to finish, all standalones:
✨ The Prince and The Dressmaker (graphic novel)
✨Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me (graphic novel)
✨Clap When You Land (novel in verse)
✨Frankly in Love (contemporary YA)
May I interest you in reading 'The Malachite Casket' by Pavel Bozhov:
🦎 Collection of Uralic folktales;
🦎 Based on the oral lore of the local miners;
🦎 Translated from Russian;
🦎 Little magical lizards;
🦎 The Mistress of the Copper Mountains 😩❤️ She has my heart forever
‘When you feel like givin' up, know you're close
I been sayin' the least and knowin' the most
I've had ups and downs, but the highest of the highs
Never last for as long as the lowest of lows.’
🖤
What an album. I really needed it in my life right now.
Thank you, @Santandave1
