This was taken on February 29 as Zuni prepared for the night dances. They make my bread baking look like amateur hour. I'm cranking out a loaf or two over the course of hours whereas Zuni has mass production going in the backyard.

It's Friday.
Allergies, spring wind, overwhelming news feed.
Yep. Staying at home.
Supposed to be another windy afternoon. Spring wind, right on schedule. Not helping the allergies a bit.

For the most part, #NewMexico is closed. Whereas most locals have outdoor recreation options in close proximity (if not in the backyard literally), it isn't a good time to visit...pretty much anywhere. If you are headed somewhere, call first or check online.
Be well.

Couldn't get CenturyLink to fix the internet after a 2 week slog through a dozen customer service folks. Switched ISP. Now waiting on XFinity. I was hitting internet cafes. I gave that up, because I attract the coughing person, who probably just has allergies, but still.
Bread loaf babies baking in an horno before the #Zuni night dances. #ZuniPueblo offers cooking classes if you want to learn more about using an horno. Though the pueblos use them w/ centuries of expertise, the horno arrived w/ the Spanish. The Spanish got the idea from the Moors.
