Okay his facial features were a bit invisible so i thickened the lines a bit which i think helps somewhat https://t.co/H1nv56Vx8N
FINALLY finished my #MyHeroAcademia Nighteye fanart! I've really loved his character this series♡ Been trying a new style with thinner less black outlines and generally i really like it..maybe should have thickened the lines on the face a bit though they get a bit hidden
Flat colours down. Great move by me chosing to take the defining feature of this character and rEMOVING it from his face *facepalm* but hoping with his hair and outfit and the glasses still being in the shot it keeps it fairly recognisable! Has kind of a long neck but he IS long.
Happy Birthday to Senku who instantly became one of my fave anime characters! Drew him recently!
Some examples: here is an example of an original "full scene" and character/person portrait I did last year (with lots of effort) compared to the same things I did in the past month or so:
July/Aug is what I like to call the phase of "ugly instagram feed with too much Hinata". I grabbed a character I liked and I used him to test all sorts of things. Surrounded by sketch pads and taking photos of myself, attempting to improve fluidity and finding a style I liked
Could I transfer this colouring and shading method to people/character drawings? I tried. The first is a D&D character, then Wandersong fanart and then Johnlock. I tried to up my game each time. You can see my discovery of clothing folds I was already over-doing 😂
