Something feels off about all of this.

The drugs angle, even as it ran through the earlier arcs, makes this much more conventional and mundane. Like Beast's explanation of Jumbo Carnation's death, it feels like an important point that mutants are being brought down by the most ordinary schemes.

I like the set up utilizing a class murder mystery format with all of the suspects gathered in one place as the murder is revealed.

Also a ton of mutants who I think we've never seen before and never see again.

Emma should have learned from Lorna. Or Madelyne. Or those two interim X-Men people that don't exist yet that Vulcan was involved with. Never love a Summers.

This is cruel.

Maybe Emma should have reminded Jean about the asparagus people (even if it's nebulous about Jean's culpability depending on who you talk to about continuity).
