For the Last Week of Weretober 2022, I'm going to be focusing on paleontology-inspired Werebeasts.
First off is Didelphodon, in-universe a shepherd-esque figure who led mammals away from the Tyrant King.

Part 2 of the Catalysts of Transformation for my Werebeasts! Featuring a cameo of someone I made during Mermay ;)

@NaturalistGamer To think, I've only ever done one piece where Spinosaurus looked serious. I should do a "proper" Spinosaurus sometime this November.
Got commissioned by a client on instagram to do a Terror Bird mount, with the colors of the Nicobar pigeon!

To expand on this, the Mastodon lineage tends to be the WIDEST of em all. As seen by this piece also by Asier Larramendi. Zygolophodon (rendered here by @paleobyliam , was even more wide bodied, and one of the heaviest land mammals ever as a result.

How appropriate that a commission I got was to do a Were-King Cobra, just in time for Weretober!

Tarbosaurus is trending for whatever reason! So here, have a 3 AM doodle! The Tarbo isn't exactly sure what you want him to do with strange human contraptions.

@AnneNotation Minus the fins and the lack of the spade-tail, the Red Dragon from DND has been surprisingly faithful to the "classic" dragon design.
And now, for how transformations actually work the Werebeasts of my Beast Fables setting. Was this also a blatant excuse for me to draw a Were-wolverine and Hippo arguing? You betcha!

Today's warm-up, a quick doodle of a Utahraptor getting sprayed by a striped skunk, since dromaeosaurs have good senses of smell and vision. A spray from a skunk would be ghastly if hit the nostrils and eyes.
