Keep in mind that director Tim Story and writer Kevin Costello have both expressed interest in a TOM & JERRY sequel, and have planned ideas for it.
One of those ideas even involve giving appearances to more minor characters. The first two are also Tim Story's personal favorites.
"There is nothing more pathetic than an old cartoon character trying to seem cool again by rapping!"
-Chip (in the Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers movie)
In the final version of the CHIP 'N DALE: RESCUE RANGERS movie's script, we originally got to see Mushu appear in it.
In the final version, we got Lumière. For obvious reasons.
The LOONEY TUNES CARTOONS movie starring Porky and Daffy is reportedly titled "The Day The Earth Blew Up".
Kevin Costello (who previously penned "TOM & JERRY") is penning its script. Which will center around Porky and Daffy teaming up to save their world from an alien invasion.
One thing I notice about the new Looney Tunes Cartoons is that the animation can be inconsistent. One looks like it was made with digital 2D animation, and the other looks like it was made with rigged 2D animation.
Same can be said with the two Tom & Jerry shorts they released.
People constantly talk about Sylvester and Tweety so much, but literally nobody ever talks about this criminally underrated pair.
My Family Guy/American Dad crossover idea starts with the Griffins wondering if aliens exist.
Stewie advises going to Nevada, where Area 51 is. Peter assumes they're in Langley Falls, Virginia.
There, they find Roger. The family explore their differences. And yadda yadda yadda.
Before Gadget Hackwrench existed, remember that the original love interest for Chip and Dale was Clarice.
Her only appearance was the classic Chip 'n' Dale cartoon "Two Chips and a Miss", and she returns in Park Life.
FUN FACT:
Both of these gems have the same writer.
