Felix the Cat is the most iconic animated fictional character to ever exist. Why is nobody showing him any respect?

The little dude still looks amazing, for a 103-year-old.

Loonatics Unleashed was not as bad as people made it out to be. It was different, but it had a distinct character, as a darker and edgier take on Looney Tunes.

I'd still take it over Baby Looney Tunes or The Looney Tunes Show. Unlike those, I actually FELT something watching it.

I know I've made it clear that I preferred most of Space Jam: A New Legacy better than the first. But, the animation is one aspect that felt downgraded.

It's still mostly good, and its use of 2D is VERY clever. But, there's something about the craftsmanship that feels different.

HBO Max's Looney Tunes Cartoons doesn't have a Speedy Gonzales short, and that upsets me.

I have an idea for one called "Of Mice and Merry Men". After Robin Hood is imprisoned, Speedy goes to do justice, and steal from the evil rich (led by Yosemite Sam) to help his poor family.

I love how some adaptations of Lola Bunny make the effort to make her FEEL like an actual Looney Tunes character. It's a big missed opportunity that Space Jam: A New Legacy didn't go that route.

Also, I'd LOVE to see the Looney Tunes Cartoons crew give Lola a cartoon of her own.

Since DNEG is doing the (computer) animation for the Looney Tunes characters appearing in "COYOTE VS. ACME", expect Wile E. Coyote to resemble his original design but with the textures that Garfield has, for his upcoming animated movie.

Today is #InternationalAnimationDay! Animation is a beautifully creative medium consisting of moving works of art, to help convey any story of any genre. Who says its appeal is only and should be only strictly for kids?

It deserves FAR more appreciation and respect than it gets.
