Why is it that Porky Pig rapping in Space Jam 2 (A New Legacy) anger-inducing to people, when previous adaptations also played it straight by having the Looney Tunes rap?
And, let's not forget that one episode of the Animaniacs reboot also making Yakko Warner rap. At one point.
Keep in mind that Foreman Spike, who was Mario and Luigi's boss from "Wrecking Crew" that constantly antagonizes them and their efforts, is actually appearing in Illumination's animated Super Mario Bros. movie. Which I was not expecting.

A videogame movie I really want to see happen is a Bubsy movie. Starring someone like Kevin Hart to voice him.
Some remember Chuck Jones' Tom and Jerry cartoons. But, he was never a fan of the franchise itself.
He only worked on them, just so that MGM would fund money for projects he was interested in. Such as The Dot and the Line, The Bear That Wasn't, and various Dr. Seuss adaptations.
Just watch, as Chris Pratt ends up blowing everyone's minds. With a legitimately unique yet fantastic portrayal of Mario.
