For years now I’ve been painting landscapes of my moms favorite place as gifts for her, (Places like Santorini, the Parthenon, Hagia Sophia, that sort of thing) and this year wrapped up the series with the most obvious of favorite places, her home! Also architecture is hard.

Okay, so that #Arcane show on #Netflix is some of the most beautiful animation I have seen in my life, like seriously treat your eye holes, BUT I gotta ask… why does everyone like Jinx so much? what am I missing?

I enjoy the inconsistencies in silly sci-fi/fantasy names. For the most part they are all weird like Frodo, Obi-wan, Leto, Arya, but then they always seem to run out of silly names and some basic white dude named Paul or Luke waltzes in like it’s not weird.

I’m in the “go ahead and race bend superhero’s” camp cause most of them were made too long ago by a buncha white dudes and most of their identities aren’t predicated on being straight white guys.

#EmmaFrost, like most women in comics, has an unreasonably provocative costume. Interestingly, she is totally aware she is in her underpants, uses it to her advantage, and makes it part of her identity. It doesnt make it ok, its just nice to see nerds get handed a good defense!

What if literally anything else flew into his window when he chose to be @DCBatman? Like, a squirrel, or someone catapulted an aardvark at the local rich dude? If a potato flew through his window and he was frightened would I have just drawn spud-man?

I sometimes think about how Wonder Woman, probably the most famous female superhero, has been in the exact same amount of live action movies as Ant-Man. Either that’s a sign of how women are treated with comic movies, or Paul Rudd is really just that powerful.

I often think about the alternate reality movies we never got. Like Nick Cage Superman, Edgar Wright Ant Man, or the infamous Sean Connery Gandalf but the ones I really wish we coulda got was more Richard Harris Dumbledore.

@wbpictures should make a Mad Eye Moody True Detective type series! Cast some hot young actor, have it before he got all oogly eyed and have everybody on the edge of their seats going “okay when’s he getting gross?!” The highest of cinematic stakes!
