Happy Halloween everyone! To celebrate, I did a little drawing of some of my monsters in costume!
#pixelart
New Spooky banner! My drawing skills may not be the greatest, but I do like how it turned out!
Blackbeast:
Born without eyes, Blackbeasts have difficulty defending themselves from attackers, though few creatures dare initiate. This is because they have learned that a quick and easy meal off a Blackbeast is not worth what comes after.

Spinalsis:
Despite its intimidating appearance, Spinalsis are harmless to humans. It collects old bones and uses them to scare away predators. It can compress itself and its collected bones into an almost invisible black puddle if it needs to hide.

Bareel:
The giant Bareel can be found swimming along shallows near docks at night, feeding on algae and small fish. During the day, it adventures farther out into the bay and hunts for larger prey, which it uses its horn to take down.

Myceleigon:
One of the oldest monsters to date, Mycelegion are almost immortal, as they can regrow at their birthplace. They are very destructive - launching explosive spore orbs from the holes in their caps, but they tend to keep away from humans.

Forgeevil:
The Forgeevil's body is made of a super-heated jelly that contains many precious metals. As its vitals are precariously suspended within, it consumes metals with a high melting point to form a protective shell.

Galaversa:
This rare beast can be found soaring in the skies near tall mountains on starry nights. It lands at dawn in beds of flowers, where its wings pick up pollen and stones that form the 'stars' it's known for. It is rather friendly to people.

Warden:
These odd beings were discovered guarding ancient cells full of bones and treasure, hence the name “Warden”. They seem to be able to shift forms depending on the situation, melting down their spikes into new extremities.

Mentis:
Supposedly spawned from dreams, this monster is dark as midnight. Contact with the liquid that drips from its scythes is known to cause horrible nightmares and sleep paralysis for weeks on end.
