Let me tell you how much I've come to hate this company since 2007.
There's sixty-thousand miles of nerves that fill the human body. If the word "hate" was engraved on each nanoangstrom of these ten-thousands of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel.
Question is if Chasm is an intentional rip-off of Kaine or if the writers and/or editors care so little about the latter that they don't even realize it.
I already stated it before but I just feel the need to make it painfully clear how uninspired and redundant "Chasm" is:
A Peter clone that acts as a dark reflection because he believes he has lost everything and that the entire world is against him.
Who on the Beyond team looked at Ben Reilly and thought he needed to become a mentally unstable and darker version of Peter Parker? We've had that for years in Kaine and now you've undermined his very existence along with pissing all over Reilly as a character.
It just hit that Miles Morales now having his own Clone Saga kind of ruins this bit from Spider-Men:
I just realized that One More Day unintentionally makes the Clone Saga more confusing by bringing Harry back to life.
Part of why Norman got Peter cloned was to avenge the death of his son, but if Harry never died it makes his convoluted scheme even stranger.
@7Venomcomics @7Spideycomics I sincerely doubt that since Kaine has also seriously regressed as a character.
