I like the second Superior Spider-Man suit the most but I think the first one has a bigger creep factor.
I really hope these Beyond covers aren't a hint to how Spencer's run will end because I just want a happy Peter/MJ ending and leave it at that.
I've seen Marvel reference DC characters and movies a few times throughout the decades, but I don't think I've ever seen DC reference Marvel (admittedly I'm not as familiar with it) outside of that one time Deadpool snuck into a Batman/Superman comic.
I wanna see a badass moment where Peter is super pissed and some thug tries to hit him, but instead of rolling with the punch Pete just let's the guy break his wrist.
@ColumbaTiberius I think it's the logo; it has a kind of similar aesthetic going on. doesn't help that apparently this ben is trying to be "the best Spider-Man ever" so that's two (too many) things he has in common with the guy so far.
@MaxSpite I could only see that in, like, the Ultimate version maybe. Otherwise I think he could have that appeal. Plus, if my girlfriend says he has it then it must be true.
I kind of character change I want to have for Peter in my fanverse is him initially avoiding the use of physical violence, fighting more like he does in the 90s cartoon, but as he gets older, and the threats more dangerous, he relies on it more regularly.
Even though I already have one fanverse, I kind of want to create another that kind of follows the 2009 Clone Saga, with Otto trying to make himself immortal (in a sense) through cloning, and ends up creating a Peter/Ock hybrid clone.
I really love the Fake Red suit. I think the only thing I'd get rid of is the unnecessary white lines on the blue sections.
Someone at should probably tell Cates the difference between "omnipotent" and "omniscient." Not sure if I'm surprised this got past editors since this is Marvel we're talking about.
