@caasstotts There's also that since Tom DeFalco was the writer for the Alien Costume saga and Spider-Girl, I kind of take his word over any other writer for the Symbiote's gender.

I don't really get what people mean when they say it's more "realistic" for Spider-Man's costume to have messy webbing.
Do you mean it's more realistic because it's closer to what a spider's web actually looks like or that it's unrealistic for Peter to make the web neat?
