I feel like the current Spider-Woman comic should be renamed "Spider-Karen".
Just imagine the Symbiote stretching, tearing, and dislocating your bones and muscles in order to create that massive jaw. It's so horrific and I absolutely love it, hence why I want to go with it.
Andrew Wildman
I think this is probably one of the most underrated artists to do Venom and I believe this is the first time I saw Venom in a comic book, so it has a very special place in my heart.
Ryan Stegman
Stegman is another amazing artist that nicely combines McFarlane and Bagley's version of the character, while still making it his own with gothic elements. The only downside for me is that I feel like it hasn't been a very consistent look.
Angel Medina
Medina definitely falls more into the category of monstrous Venom and is my favorite in that area. However, when he depicts Venom more subdued with that painful-looking grin in Dark Origin, I think it's the scariest Venom has ever looked to this day.
Paulo Siquiera
Another artist that gives Venom that creepy grin I love so much. I think his Venom is like a more realistic version of McFarlane's, although he makes Venom look a bit like a sperm whale at times.
Gerardo Sandoval.
Sandoval is definitely my favorite modern artist to do Venom and I think he perfectly captures McFarlane's original design while also perfectly incorporating the more monstrous, tongued look for action scenes.
I don't know if it was intentional on Bagley's part, but I like that Venom has a "nicer" and more human look when interacting with the little girl in this scene.
