Well this was. . .dull.

Gotta say, I'm quite disappointed by the tie-in issues so far. This one does have a battle with one of Knull's dragons in the second half, but it wasn't especially interesting.

I think I'm gonna have Ben Reilly use Peter's Mk. 1 web-shooters in my fan comic instead of the more recognizable ones. I really want to create the impression that he is the "low budget Spider-Man" by having him "borrow" stuff Peter no longer uses.

I think I will base Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider suit on this.

It just hit me that Peter B. Parker's depression and just wearing the Spider-Man costume all day is actually similar in some ways to when 616 Peter was driven over the edge with grief and called himself "the Spider."

I think I'd like the Crimson Cowl suit if it didn't make Miles' shoulders so broad and the back of it didn't look so boring.

@COMICFIRUKO Hm... Maybe. If so, the blue could be like the answer to the blue highlights in the cartoon.

Kathy questioning the Mask's conjuring abilities.

I really wish we got more of Kate wearing the mask. I like how she sorta plays the straight man to the Mask's crazy abilities.

Y'know, there's a very similar dynamic between the Mask and its wearer, and the Symbiote and its host.

While the Symbiote is depicted more as a allegory for abuse or addiction, both are about a living entity negatively influencing those they come in contact with.
