A quick look at how I usually draw.

Start with an very rough sketch to give an idea of the pose, framing, energy, etc. This can go through several passes, sometimes 4+, but always loose.

Then tighten down, with a focus on anatomical accuracy and my stylization.

Then finalize.

The fox turned pony, figuring he'll be sticking around, is applying for Equestrian citizenship through Quill!

My style's diverged a lot from G4 over the years, so it was fun to make a piece where the two styles are juxtaposed next to each other.

In some ways though I'm glad it took me a while to get to this- the Morpho books I'be been studying from have been an absolute godsend for my sense of anatomy.
