@thatislebeaver @TFSential Incredibly useful program- I've used to to block out backgrounds for illustrations before, to great effect.
@yourcompanionAI "What's it going to be? Loyalty to your friends, or loyalty to me? Your friends, or your old mentor? The lessons you've learned, or the ones you've yet to have?"
Artist is gun_modoki, who unfortunately has their twitter locked. Shame- drawing is perfect.

Fun comparison between how I drew Chrysalis back in 2013 vs. how I draw her now!
@MrDragon_Chris I still occasionally use the human head shape to base a pony face on, but nowadays as part of my transformation art, to show pony features emerging off of a human skull- so it's actually supposed to come off as a little uncanny until things smush down all pone-proper.
@MrDragon_Chris Funny you mention that- when I started drawing anthro ponies I came across the issue of the head feeling too "round" to sit on a human body. I tried solving the issue by basing anthro pony heads on a human skull shape.
Now though, my heads feel alright on either types of body.
I dunno what it was but I just didn't like drawing the simple round jaw and chin of the show.
Maybe it was me wanting more volume from my characters, even before I fully understood the concept. Or maybe just taking advantage of the fact I was illustrating and not animating.
