@turning2stone Special Mention to Lupin III: Red Vs Green. This movie kinda sucks ass because a film dedicated to the 4th anniversary of Lupin it fails, but this ending fight scene is one of a handful of sequences that keeps this film from being completely terrible.

@WillSometimes To this day I’m still blow away at the near flawless integration of CG and Painted elements. Right now I’m doing scans of all the art books I have and some of them display the background paintings in full (I still need to crop a lot of these)
