I'm here to argue the popular fan opinion that the ending sucks, & most fans hate Near. I have a differing opinion, & I'll share that now. MAJOR DEATH NOTE SPOILERS.

(7/19) know why, but Mendez puts me a bit on edge. Especially legless ceiling crawler Mendez. Probably mixture of the music, sound design, animation, & how it attacks, but he unnerves me a bit.

I actually like Sheva a lot, I wish they'd do more with her. She's kinda' sidelined in RE5 once Wesker comes into the picture. Trying to make things right in a place Umbrella dirtied, canonically left-handed, kicks ass when needs to, fighting for justice.

HE IS A LEGEND. I like Josh! I wish there was more of him, honestly. He's got charisma, a bit of fun silliness, rather professional & polite, but has the spirit of a survivor. He gets most of his screen time in RE5's Desperate Escape DLC, but he's good there

I expected to hate Jake pre-RE6, but really I didn't. Troy Baker did good in the role, he's written in an amusing way, chemistry with Sherry worked & he's kinda' badass. The near fanfiction insert of him being Wesker's son is still silly, but hey, he's good

I feel a little bad placing her this high as I have a couple friends who really like her, but this is right for her for me. She's basically a better revamped version of Angela from Damnation (same VA, same dilemma, same personality), much better realized.

Destined to either die to a Snake or a Shark in Resident Evil 1, though with a playable sequence with Rebecca in the "Nightmare" scenario in Umbrella Chronicles. Despite a victim, he's a good guy, cares for his comrades, & my favorite "Side" STARS member.

(20/27) 7. Ramon Salazar
In my opinion, the cheesiest & funniest Resident Evil villain, but makes him fun. He gets SO MUCH screentime for a RE villain, especially one in just a portion of a single game, but he's fun through it all. Whiny, angry, cocky when shouldn't be. He's fun.
