I fell down the rabbit hole today. Martin Mystery is loosely based on an italian comic book called Martin Mystère. Martin Mystère which also had a gritty point and click game title called Operation Dorian Gray.

These three Martins look completely different.

Locomon and GranLocomon are just straight up trains. Incredible I love them
