Wow, when I first started on WT my weaknesses were a lot more obvious. I used to suck at backgrounds, still have a blur habit to get by. But look how far I’ve come with the first pic vs the rest! Last one is my most recent and I like how it came out! Sorry my BGs are so sparse😅

@StarCocolate Yeah I saw this coming. There are actually SEVERAL antagonists in the story that are split by arcs. They come in different forms, have different origins, purposes and strengths. And my best ones are those you will struggle not to side with. But I can’t spoil, so you get the main!

@GogogigiFriends I enjoy each of my character’s designs and I’m also a finicky lil b*tch who can’t be satisfied either. So I’ll be chaotic and choose the villain because he stands out the most in my poster and a lot of peeps seems to like his aesthetic!

@Adxmaniia Yeah I get you! My sketches are much more like this too! I do draw however I want but eventually it all gets smoothed out into solid lines cuz ‘Animation’ reasons lmao! But I’m experimenting for my comic and trying to unlearn the rigid habit (it’s still kinda cartoony tho)😂

One of my favorite things about my story (Star Crossed) is that I incorporated many kinds of cultures into it. The characters do a lot of traveling, so there are both real AND mythical influences. Here’s some South Asian references I used then~😁
