I commissioned the younger of two cousins for Mochi; one of the earlier iterations. She still does not have an art account/portfolio for me to link to (yet).

Furikake’s been making a lot of waves and garnering international renown. It’s nametake’s(なめ茸) time to shine.

I can’t wait to eat you with egg on rice.

And that’s kani chahan made. Carrot, asparagus, eggs and both crabstick and fresh meat tossed together with crab roe butter.

I hope both forms of plating make it look like something out of EO’s ducal restaurant.

This was not fun to compile, but the end result is worth it.

Chicken poached in genmaicha and finished with brown butter. Served with ponzu seared broccolini and a tea and rosemary infused buerre blanc.

I went bouldering for the first time. I survived. Managed to clear the beginner levels, and 2 of the intermediate levels. Time to let my hands and arms recover.

Went for malatang later. Donuts were a chance encounter - ended being worthwhile.

I woke up with a revelation from the stars above.
