'The Magician' - Rex Ingram, 1926. Based on Somerset Maugham's book of the same name it features a magician named Oliver Haddo - inspired by Aleister Crowley - whom Maugham knew through the painter Gerald Kelly. Once considered a 'lost film', it is now available on DVD
Mr Kilmister's birthday today. I did this a while back for a caricature competition. I never saw him with Hawkwind, as I was a bit small, but it was a pleasure to see Motorhead many times.
A few years ago I was asked to do a trial for Marvel: pick 1 of their heroines and do my take. I did 3. This was Emma Frost. I didn't get the gig - they weren't 'dynamic enough'. But for a while back if you googled EF this was top. My mistake? Doing what I thought they wanted.
